Just sounds like this roster isn’t hungry enough. You HAVE to work even harder to get across the line against a G2, SEN, LEV, and it just sounds that they aren’t willing to put in the extra reps during the off season.

If comfort is your goto answer, then your team wil always be a middle of the pack team maybe youll win a tourney once in a while but youll never have the potential to win 2 tourneys in a row think of it like going to the gym for the first time, ofc youre gonna be uncomfortable and youll just wnana go home and be comfortable but sometimes you have to put yourself in uncomfortable situations to be better.

This is literally just a video trying to justify why they didn’t play other than the one off-season event. It’s almost like you need to get the Chemistry back up to par after taking months off. Look at regular sports. Baseball is a perfect example. Spring training for the MLB, is exactly how VCT teams should look at off season events.

i still think they dont have the right idea about off season

Calling Val a "mickey mouse game where bullets go wherever" when half those clips come from one of your own players is crazy (yes i'm still salty about the rope 2k idc) But in all honesty them taking offseason as unserious as they did is a big reason as to why they lost. I understand the Zander pick up from a vibes but role wise Zander plays primary controller more than the secondary controller role and that's basically the role Cryo plays when he isn't on jett. Bang's viper is was better in the secondary controller/senti role than Zander's IMO and it shows in the lurks and timings. If 100T got a duelist who could just play it all (Asuna cannot op so that's a hard no for him) things would be a lot easier as they don't need to change pace every other map from a more passive Cryo to run it down Asuna and then they could more focus down on their own roles being flash/flex and smokes. But then again things could be going differently in scrims so who really knows.

Also the comments about being burned out. I know these are basically kids/young adults but ur getting paid to play a video game instead of working a 9-5 type of job or being even worse by being salary. Burnout should never be an excuse.

So I’m a hardcore 100T fan. I still will be even after this year. I will say Boostio & Zikz need to change their mindset about offseason. No one cares who wins each tournament but having that extra time to build chemistry & practice random strats is definitely worth it.

My only gripe, I get what Boostio is trying to say with off season events. But he also said he never tried in scrims before, and that its new for him to try so hard. He could have reallocated that effort to off season, his only Claim against off season is he wont take it seriously, but while Off Season are fake reps, wouldnt scrims mean even less?

The 5 Players are individually super good but they don’t match together imo, not chemistry it’s just their play styles don’t match. Cryo for example plays jett but he is not an entry Fragger he can’t push and kill , asuna can do that but the team doesn’t match

The offseason events may not technically matter but the on stage experience is priceless. You can’t knock that

Regardless, I'm still going to continue to root for the guys and hope for the best.
